We have an email with ***  for years. when my wife went to get her email nothing happened. I tried everything I could think of. This was not happening on a Computer, she only uses an iPad. It took me several days to find a customer support telephone number. I was put in contact with a person who calls himself Kevin. He had a heavy accent (India) He told me that account was frozen because of a scammer from the Philippines had broken into the account. We have had no contact with anyone or business there. so he checked some more and came back with a suggestion to use-a company he knew of that did good work. It would cost $300.00 for them to work with him, us, and take care of the problem. Well, it took over an hour (as he said it would). During this hour they gained access to my iMac and everything in it, as well as my bank account number routing number, etc. So we have been advised to report this to the BBB.That is most of what I remember, and yes we are senior citizen-retired.
