Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
The person called with a pre-recorded message stating that Marriott was awarding me with a prize. The representative asked me if I was over the age of 30, to which I responded YES …. I worked for Marriott, so this was not unusual. They asked to confirm my name, but I gave a bogus name. And they hung up.
Now I see that I will need to monitor all my bank, credit card and telephone statements for unusual charges.
NO MONEY HAS BEEN LOST YET, but the scam happened 20 minutes ago.
