Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Was asked to be a secret shopper.
Was mailed a cashiers check for $2985.00, told to deposit it and then wait for it to clear.
Next, I was to purchase two Apple gift cards for 1200.00 and 1400.00, I would retain 300.00 as a salary.
The next ‘assignment’ was to give these cards to a verified agent. I would then earn another 85.00.
They used the business: Marketview Research at www.marketresearch.com
It was an obvious scam once I researched this company.
