Type of a scam Online Purchase
I ordered a water table toy for my sons birthday. I checked out the website and it seemed legit. However once I paid for the item the receipt came back saying I was paying “Marcene Hemphill” I tried calling the business through the contact info on their website however it brought me straight to a google voice recording. I even received a text message saying they confirmed my order- the next morning I received another text message saying the order was shipped however there was no tracking information and I could not get a hold of the company. I immediately contacted PayPal about the situation. I filed a dispute and claim with PayPal letting them know that his website was a fraud. They could not gain any information from Marcene Hemphil so they refunded my money back to me after 10 days.
