Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I found the companies number online saying that they could help with student loan debt. I called them to see what they were about. A rep named Frank Baethe asked me basic questions to see if I’d qualify for their loan relief. Once he found out I was a teacher he said I automatically qualified. After that he asked me questions about my social security number, my tax return, my job, my address, my phone number, my email. He told me he was sending me an esign contract document that I needed to sign and send through the email. I did this with their esignatures. Once he called me back he asked if I signed the document myself in which I replied that I clicked on one of their options for the signatures. He then said he’d need my credit number because there would be a $1314.00 service fee. Then he said he needed my driver’s license number to make sure I was valid in that state. After everything was done he transferred me to a compliance rep and she went over all of the information and company information that was needed.
