Asked for money once ($550) and then contacted acting like the shipping company and asked for even more money to ship the cat($750). Upon looking at the news it turned out to be an actual scam and I paid through Zelle so I was not able to recover the $550 I paid. Upon communicating with the fake shipping company it turns out they will refund me the $750 once the cat is delivered to my doorstep. I at that moment I realized this is a scam and the shipping company asked to pay through money order and Zelle. When I asked if there are any other forms of payment they said no other forms of payment are acceptable.

They sold us a kitten for 700.00 and as we were getting ready for him to arrive, the airport asked us to send them an additional payment of 980.00 for a special crate through a cash app. That’s when the red flag went up and I contacted Maine [censored] Breeders and told them I wanted a refund of my 700.00 or I would contact the police, they told me to go ahead and contact the police.
