I received a phone call at my flower shop from a woman who said she had ordered flowers for her dad for Father’s Day and they were dead 2 days later. She wanted her money back. The reason she had waited so long to contact me was she was in the military and had been deployed and was just now back in the States. I asked her what day she picked up the flowers and she said, "Saturday". I told her I was closed on Saturday then she said, "Well it must have been Friday". I told her I would need to check my invoices and asked for her name and number. She gave it to me. After checking the invoices, there was no order from her. I called her back to let her know and she hung up on me before I could finish. I was suspicious of this because it had happened to me once before with the same story and I gave the person $25.
