Type of a scam Online Purchase
Ordered a coffee table from luxurywoodsco.com from their Instagram site, was provided with a picture of product examples, settled on a custom size of 18X42 and a product stain of light oak. Product I received was completely different than pictured, poor quality, 2 pine boards laminated (glued) together versus a single piece of wood live edge slab as pictured and agreed upon. Legs were different than pictured but he lied and said they were the same, that I just couldn’t see right and they were not fitted to the product, no predrilled holes or fitting to insure leveling of the table, product came with no stain or finishing which he insisted it was stained, rough pine with a cut up edge to resemble a live edge. Other people that were scammed by this bait and switch have come forward and sent pictures of his scam.
