Type of a scam Romance
A guy using the name 1948ukcarguy who claimed he was from a town of 300 people in southern Indiana, said this was his business. He said he inherited it from his Dad who died at the age of 110. He had a lot of photos of antique cars on his profile, said he owned them but that I could see his business on the web. I searched the number of the dealership and it came up as ‘suspected spam.’ He was texting me and his supposed cell phone came up as a ‘domestic land line’ so I assume he was spoofing the number. He also claimed he was selling real estate internationally – all this at the age of 72 and semi-retired. I told him I was investigating him and his profile is now gone.
