Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted by a "lady" named *** *** offering a super well paid job. It was an immediate opening no experience need it. She described the company and where they are located ( which is a lie) she used the company Lumara logo and description. Everything was done over the hangout app. Texting. She sent a $3600.00 cashier check which it was meant to use for software and other materials. She told me to deposit the check thru the ATM machine, I asked if I could open an account just for that and she said "no, because the company will make the funds available with 24 hrs. So I could pursache the sofrware and other materials". thank God when. I tried the ATM machine was not working. I went inside to a teller and that is when. The teller told me it was a fraud check. She asked me for a copy of the deposit slip. I am assuming to get my account info.
