Type of a scam Romance
I keep getting calls from Lukoil in Russia telling me I need to put money on cards or they will kidnap me or arrest me. I put $500 on one google card and sent it to them. I paid this with my Discover card and they had me running around town trying to get other cards they wanted 10 cards with a $1000 each on them and I told them I didn’t have that kind of money. They threatened me they told me they would come and kidnap me and then they said they would arrest me if I didn’t get them this money. But I told them I’m done with them. At the same time I am getting these calls from Lukoil I met a gentleman online Mark Williams and he and I shared companionship for about a year but then he started asking me for money. First he wanted $1500 for his son’s school because they go on a trip and needed the money but I didn’t send it to him. I feel like meeting Mark was associated with the scam phone calls I was receiving because when I told him about the calls he told me what I needed to do by going to various stores to buy the different cards and report the numbers to the callers.
