I posted an item for sell on Facebook Market place and someone called Lotty contacted me to buy it and committed to pay using Venmo. We met and completed the transaction (I handed over the item and I was paid using Venmo), I received a confirmation from Venmo that I was paid.
Next day I was contacted by Venmo explaining that they’ve frozen my account due to suspecious transaction, by checking with them further they verified that I was scammed and that transaction was not legimate so they will not be able to process it.
