Type of a scam Phishing
Can You Hear Me – received a phone call from number *** – the caller said they were from Logic Surveys. I answered that I did not want to participate and hung up. They phoned back a minute later and identified themselves as calling from Logic Surveys and asked if I could hear them. I said ‘yes’ and that I did not want to be called again. As soon as I hung up my husband told me about this scam that was going around. They have not taken any money yet but he suspects that they might try to charge long distance calls to our phone line.
