Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I received a call at 1:30 PM today from Harry Nix who stated I was approved for a $10,000 loan but I had to go to Walmart and purchase a moneygram for $430 for some kind of insurance. However, I told him I did not have that money so he said I could get a moneygram for $190.
He told he to call when I purchased the moneygram and he would walk me thru the process. I was skeptical so I called the BBB for information and was told it was a scam.
