A popup on mac laptop says my email has been hacked. Please call *** Support to fix.
When you call they identify as apple and ask for payment via credit card or bank transfer. They also ask you to download a program so that a "technician" on the other end has control of the computer to "identify and fix" the problem.
Complete Scam: I called and the man was swearing at me because I did not give my credit card.
I called a second time and the woman told me it was *** but when I asked for the phone number and address to confirm it was *** she hung up on me. Scammers from India.
