I got an email through my college email to become a mystery shopper. i thought it was pretty sketchy at first but i filled out the "application." still feeling sketchy about it. I went on here to see if someone has had the same experience. someone did and they linked the website so i went to it and the person’s website had the same pictures, wording, and application. the check looked fake when it was sent to me so i did not losing any money but im glad i did the research anyways.

I called the number of the return address. I found it on google because it’s a public place. They were familiar with the scammer using their address but had nothing to do with it.
