I was contacted on Facebook messenger with a fake Facebook account of a personal friend inviting me to participate in the LCIF grant club-a federal grant for empowerment and reduction of poverty. The imposter imposing as my friend said that she had receive $70,000.00 cash for her participation along with three other friends and gave me a phone number to text her referral . I told my friend it sounded to good to be true. I asked her to call me and she said she had an ear leakage and was going to the doctor. So she could only chat. I called my sister who write grants and we investigated and learned that this is s new scam on the horizon. I did not send money but filled an questionnaire with some of my personal demographics. It was an Imposter posing as my good friend with s fake Facebook page ooh my God.
