Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
They called me on my office phone claiming to have done business with us before and used the full name of my predecessor. They told me they were under new ownership and running a promotion where they’d send a gift card to all of their existing customers. They lady on the phone also already knew what type of light bulbs we used. She took my updated contact info as I am new to the company. She also gave me here alleged personal cell number and told me if I ever had light bulb questions to send her a picture via text. She took my cell number too. She closed the phone call saying she’d send me some bulbs. The next day I got a call on my cell confirming my order and within a week a box of 25 bulbs showed up at my business. My supervisor called and we were being excessively invoiced for the bulbs.
