Type of a scam Tech Support

Tried to go on lifeguard.com. A message appears saying you won over a million dollars from Apple. Message will not disappear and freezes screen until you click ok. It then tries to send you to what looks like Apple Store to put app on your device to receive money. It probably is to get your Apple Store password. I did not do this. Then iPad freezes and says there is a problem with a foreign app that is causing your iOS system to crash on your iPad preventing internet access. Call Apple Tech Support at this Toll free number immediately. Someone from India answers and asks for your Apple Store ID and password. I did not give it to them. Then they asked for credit card info to charge $58.00 to help computer. I knew this was a scam and ask for information about man I was talking to and he hung up. I did call real Apple and they were very helpful and helped fix i-Pad for free in a short time. They said number on site was not theirs and that it was a scam
