I ordered clothing from Licala on May 22nd from a site that targeted me on Facebook. I entered my cc information and they proceeded to process the order using Paypal. I emailed the company many times and was told to be patient and that the order was on its way. I received the order today on July 11th and there were 10 rolls of toilet paper in a bag.

I have reported the company to Amex and will file a claim with PayPal.

Do not buy from licala clothing . they had an advertisement on instagram and i purchased a dress for $38.99 plus $9.99 shipping It took month to get here, It most likely came from china, as the paypal i used had a chinese symbol address. The dress was a joke, a cheap crap version i wouldn’t take for free out of the trash. It was also supposed to go to knees, but it hits my high thighs. It resembled nothing of what i saw in the photo which was beautiful. I have researched them and it turns out they steal photos from other sites, make advertisement and then apparently sew cheap [censored] copies of the original dress or clothing item that in no way resemble the original. I have filed a dispute with my bank and i will get the $$ bank, thats for sure. There is no invoice, no information on making a return of any type, and the return address on the package was as follows (see photo) I looked it up and its a gas station/truck stop in Alabama from JON?? Who the **** is JON . Searching online i have since found this interesting information on LICALA:

Our Final Verdict:

Above are some of the realities we have shown you after our research on how Licala and similar type of companies are doing their business and how they are scamming the people.

Nevertheless, we have come up with the conclusion that Licala is one of the suspicious websites and we do not recommend it because they seem to be cheating their customers very smartly. We recommend you not to make any purchases from this website because either they will not deliver you the product or will deliver such a quality product that is not worth your purchase value.

In April I started seeing advertisements on Instagram and Facebook for a woman’s clothing company called Licala. Super cute clothes at a discounted price. Finally on May 8th I decided to check out the website and after seeing positive reviews, I placed an order for 3 dresses. There were no red flags other than shipping was 15-20 days and there was no phone number or actual address (that should have been the red flag.) I googled the company and didn’t see any complaints, either. When placing my order it was all through paypal which I felt was strange but felt safe doing so. One thing that was strange was that instead of Licala for payment it came up as Fashion Ladies in Paypal. On 5/24, after not receiving any notification of shipment I decided to reach out so I sent an email to the customer service email listed on website. The response was that because of the pandemic’s unexpected elements, all delivery time bight be a little delayed and we promise to speed up the shipping. Then on 5/27 they said they would update tracking number later…5/28 and 5/29 short responses saying thank you for your understanding and then on 5/29 asked for my order number (Which I had already given.) No follow up from that last email and then I sent emails on 5/29, 5/31 and 6/6 and just received an answer back yesterday. Still no product and they charged my card on 5/8. Its beyond their guarantee and outside the window for returns. I started to feel suspicious after responses were very broken English and the name showing up for response was “Vissty” I also saw many articles and complaints online (weeks after I placed order) from other customers clearly scammed by this company. The latest response says there will be a 10% cancellation fee and that they cant cancel the order and that the package is in producing. I have a feeling I will never receive the product and when I do, it will be nothing that is advertised on the site. If you look up online this company is clearly scamming many other people and took advantage of people being home bound during Covid. I hope that who over is behind this company is caught so no one else experiences the scam. Thanks!
