Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
Called me at 9:11 a.m. on Sunday morning (Mother’s Day). I didn’t answer. Left a computerized message that didn’t identify the company (must have started talking before the beep). Half an hour later I received a text message from the same number asking when a good day and time would be to call me to discuss my credit repair. I have excellent credit, never heard of or contacted this company, and certainly don’t appreciate being contacted on a Sunday…first clue it was a scam. No law firm makes calls on a Sunday! Next clue it was a scam…they used a shortened version of my legal name which would narrow down where they got the info from, if I was interested in finding out. Blocked the number, will see if they call again using a different number.
