Type of a scam Romance

I contacted Larry E. Thurston on the dating website OurTime.com. We began chatting through that site and then moved our form of contact to email, followed by texting and phone calls. He claimed to be widowed, father, a successful businessman working in France. He acted very cautious at first and then opened up about finding his true love. About a month into chatting, he asked for $8,600 for contract fees and $5000 for food and lodging. It should’ve been a red flag, but I wired him the money. Then he began asking for more and more money. He’d text me every morning and ask me if I’d made it to the bank. He basically walked me through everything step by step on how to withdraw the money and where to send it to. He also isolated me into believing my kids were the crazy ones and that my financial firm and banks were lying to me. I’m ashamed to admit that I gave him $142,000 and actually believed that he loved me.
