Type of a scam Scholarship
This business, Lesko.com, is a hype and a scam. A year or so ago, I signed up with a company and paid a nominal fee to be able to apply for scholarships for school. I hadn’t heard from them until Thanksgiving day. They called and said that I had been awarded an $8000 scholarship. They wanted the number to a pre-load credit card to deposit the funds. They said they would send an email once the money had been deposited. Since that time, they have been charging this card rather than depositing any money into the account. I have tried to get in touch with them to stop their fraudulent charges and the answer machine will refer you to a cancellation prompt and it just rings and rings and switches to another line and keeps ringing. I never received an email either.
