Type of a scam Debt Collections
I’ve been receiving emails from Ruby Brown, senior investigation officer with LEGAL DEPARTMENT OF ACS INCORPORATION, [email protected], stating she is working w/the FBI, FTC and Credit Reporting Agencies. She says IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center) has marked my file as a flat refusal and charges will be filed against me. She says I owe $1285.98 but they would accept $850 if I called (979)-505-9165 otherwise, I will owe $4515.85. I called each company to verify I have no accounts. They informed me the emails are scams and not to send money.
