I was contacted via phone by a man with a foreign accent. He told me that he was calling me concerning a law suit that we brought to court against me on 4/17/18. I asked him who was bringing forth the lawsuit and he said National Credit. He asked me multiple times to verify my address, email, and social security number. When I refused to do so, he repeatedly asked me "Why don’t you know about this lawsuit? You received info in the mail and email." When I began to ask him questions to try to reveal his identity, he began to over talk me. He would not provide a direct address to his law office but kept saying he was located in Durham, NC.
I hung up the phone and called the number he called me from back and the operator came on and said the number was out of service.
