Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
This person was buying a couch online and sent me an email. I thought he was a serious buyer and we made a deal and good business. He sent a cashier’s check
and told me to pay the movers. When we went to clear the check our bank told us that it was fraud right away so we went ahead and called the bank that ordered the check and couldn’t verify it.I emailed him about the check and did not respond after that. An example of the check below.
