Type of a scam Online Purchase
Contacted Laura Engquist via email about a car she was selling online. After I showed interest I was directed to use google payments/google wallet for the payment. Became suspicious when google wallet and Laura said the transaction would be done with a money transfer through walmart2walmart. Researched google pay scams and saw that this is never how payments are made through them. Supposed google agent is Canon Dawson at 5201 Pine Ter, Charleston, WV 25313. She used the classic the car was my recently departed husband’s and I must let it go at a great price. I almost fell for it because I really wanted the car but trusted my suspicions and thought better.
