Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Filled out reply to mystery shopper job and received a priority mail envelope and in it was a cashier’s check for $3,865. And instructions for assignment ect. Told to cash it keep $300 spend $50 at 2 Walmarts and purchase remainder in gift cards. Then write my evaluation reports. Scratch gift cards and take pics and send it to them via text message and when completely done text and they’ll send me an address to mail gift cards. Looked legit, NOT!! CALLED BANK TO VERIFY ACCOUNT. NON EXISTENT. BANKER SAID NOT TO DEPOSIT OR CASH IT. IT WAS FAKE.
