I am a case manager for Community Action Agency for one of their housing and education programs. A rental property at the address 5377 Monterey Dr SE, Salem, OR 97306 was advertised on Craigslist for 750/mo. plus 100 deposit. A client of mine had been talking to this person who identified himself as Larry Stidham who lives in Georgetown, KY. I advised my client to not apply for the place until I could look into it. I found the unit was also listed through Coldwell Banker for 1195/mo and was able to discern that the person she had been contacting was conducting a rental scam.
