Laptops For Veterans is a website posing as a organization who accepts donations of laptops to provide veterans, and who provides free laptops for veterans. After asking for your name, address, phone number, email address, they request a digital copy of the veteran’s DD214. When you send a digital copy of your DD214 it gives the message that there was a problem and takes you to a trouble shooting page, that does nothing – except try to sell you some software. This website is obtaining sensitive information and runs you around in a circle, but won’t complete the application for a free laptop process, taking advantage of needy veteran’s who are looking for assistance.
