Type of a scam Online Purchase
Purchased replacement laptop screen from website. Bank account was charged, but no confirmation email was
received. Realized it was not the site I expected; proper URL was supposed to be https://www.laptopscreen.com.
Called two days later to find out why, but nobody answered the phone; it was a Google Voice assistant. Left a
message.
After Memorial Day weekend, called again, tried to use the chat function on their site, and still could not get a
response. Left another message on the 27th, and another on the 28th.
Disputed charge today (5/28/2020). Item still not received, no confirmation email, no shipping confirmation. No
communication at all.
