I would like to report a scam made by Kmc Telecom Iii, Inc. – Md
I work for the Office of Child Care, Department of Workforce services at the Care About Childcare office located at Utah Valley University in Orem Utah.
Our client (a state licensed childcare provider) received a call from Kmc Telecom Iii, Inc. – Md 240-345-3222. The caller congratulated our client and said they had earned a government grant. They went on to ask for our clients credit card information. The information was not given.
The client was suspicious and then called our office (they have received grants from our organization in the past) to see if we had given them a grant. They were assured that the call was not from us.
I Googled the phone number and that is how I came up with company name.
I am sure you have a full load of complains but I hope you will be able to look into this ASAP. I will report any additional if necessary.
