Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I and my sister are receiving calls reguarding a personal loan that was taken out in Wisconsin however I did not reside in that state nor did I take out a loan. The number they have for my sister is a number that she had gotten after the so called loan was taken as well as the other information they have on myself. My fiancé has spoken with the people who are contacting us and is unable to get information on the business. The apparent company is called Kingston marketed/Kingston payday loans out of Kingston WI. The company contacting has stated that if I do not pay $590 today they will be taking me to court and the amount will double to triple and they will also add court costs. Your help in helping me know if this is a scam or not would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
