Contacted this website about a puppy and everything seemed to be going along just fine. Paid 700.00 for the puppy through cashapp and then the real part of the scam started. I got a call from a shipping company called elite shipping (which has Better Business Bureau complaints) telling me the puppy would shipped the next day and would arrive in the evening. The next day, after the puppy should already be in transit I get an email from the shipping company stating they need 2500 dollars to get a shipping crate and give the puppy shots, they also said that 2300 dollars was refundable upon the puppy arriving. I did not pay this cost, but I did have a couple of emails with the company and elite shipping said the fee for the crate was to get a crate from the USDA. I told them that an animal shipping company should already have crates. I have included a copy of the email that made me start questioning. And as I am typing this Elite Shipping is telling me that the crate was a requirement from the USDA.
