Type of a scam Online Purchase

They are advertising on social media, mainly Facebook and Instagram. Products look real, and are advertised as closeouts. Items are never shipped. When company is emailed, they blame it on the USPS… even giving a fake tracking number.

Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

After purchasing real jewelry directly from the Kendra Scott website, an advertisement for a sale appeared in my Facebook feed. The link took me to what appeared to be the same Kendra Scott site and because the new site had the Kendra Scott initials I thought it was legit. I became suspicious when the product did not arrive in the usual timeframe and the tracking number did not work, so I filed a dispute with my credit card company and sent an email notifying the seller that I had not received my order. When the product arrived from China, it was all together in a smashed Kendra Scott box, and the items are not of the same quality of product or packaging that I had received from ordering directly through Kendra Scott. In addition there was two rings that I had not ordered and that are not in Kendra Scott’s collection.
