Line was blank for a few seconds, then the caller said "can you hear me?" to which I replied "Yes." I then remembered hearing about the "can you hear me" scams, and hung up before the caller could finish explaining that I won $200,000 in the online sweepstakes that I supposedly entered (but never did).
