Type of a scam Online Purchase
I previously purchased Kayla Itsines e-books from a discount website months ago, which now appears to have been a scam even though I did receive the promised product. I received an email from Kayla Itsines, supposedly, about a month ago offering a one time fee for a limited time offer for 200 people: lifetime access to the Sweat app, of which Kayla Itsines is a contributor. The normal fee is $20 a month for access. I signed up for the app, which gives you a 7 day trial. I was sent emails from the scammers with a supposed registration number and received confirmation of my lifetime access. I was then charged a months fee on iTunes after a week. I emailed that email and was told the charge would be fixed. Honestly I got busy and hadn’t confirmed that had been the case on my credit card bill. I was just recently charged for another month and then read on Instagram that this was a scam. I paid $60+ to the scammers and was charged $19.99 monthly from iTunes for access I believed I had already paid for.
