Type of a scam Debt Collections
Called said that i had an outstanding debt with a bank and sent many letters that i never received and that my wages were going to be garnished, and a civil suit against me but he would talk to the lawyer into going back to the out of court settlement if i could pay a good faith payment today. I called the bank and they said they have not sent anything to collections and the last time i had an account with them was 15 years ago. But they had my social, address, and phone number so i am very worried how they got all this.
