Type of a scam Identity Theft
Letter received stating unclaimed property for a check issued in 2013 to me was never cashed. This was supposedly "Kaiser Permanente Escheament Program" They requested copies of my drivers license and social security card. I called Kaiser and they did not have a check that matched the number provided nor could they verify the phone number given as a legitimate Kaiser number. They said they were asking for information that didn’t sound like anything Kaiser would ask for.
