They said in an email (below) that they received my resume. I did not remember applying for the position but I had sent out a lot of applications. They were offering $50/hour so I thought I would at least check it out. In the email, it said to contact Mike Anderson on yahoo messenger. I did and he proceeded to explain the job, asking a bunch of questions (the entire conversation is in the attached document). Very quickly I caught on that it was a scam, but decided to play along for a while. At the end, he was asking for my banking information, so I told him I was between banks to see how he reacted. He stopped the conversation immediately. Afterwards, I looked up the company and found that they were not accredited by BBB.

You are to set up a screen name with yahoo instant messenger and add up the company’s head of operation ID to your contact list, ID name ([email protected]) Or Google Hang Out ID ([email protected]) and instant message him for an online
interview/briefing exercise. You are to be available on yahoo messenger or Google Hangout for the interview (ASAP), Your swift and timely response matters to this position as well as the job interview. I wish you all the very best of luck in the interview.
