I wish I would have read through the ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker before venturing into looking for a beagle puppy on line. There are several reports that reflect what we’ve just experienced. We went on line to find a Beagle puppy and found Julien Beagles in Virginia. We made contact with them via email, they wouldn’t answer the listed phone number. All sounded and looked good. Their Web site is very is professionally put together and their prices were fairly standard across the country. Long story short and reflecting other reports, we made arrangements to make the payment for the puppy and shipping, around $700.00. We were told that the AKC and transport paperwork was being worked on and that we would be contacted as soon as everything was ready. We got an email the next morning stating that they had just found out that air transport changes were made and that they required an electronic kennel and that there was a "refundable" $550.00 charge for it. I knew that the airlines that handled animals in their cargo areas are now temperature controlled, pressurized and supply the same oxygen as in the passenger area. Just to check, I contacted the airlines and got confirmation that I was correct. I emailed this information to the supplier and got a return email stating "Thank you Rxxx, we’ll see what we can do and get back to you". Their have been no communications since then. The other reports are generally the same as this one, but with different names and breeds.
