I am a family home child care provider and also apart of a support group with other daycare providers. The parent says he is a single father and his son "Jeff is 32 months". He asks for your zip code and specific information about how much you charge weekly, providing food, and hours of operation. At first it seems sincere, even as he expresses the need to trust the person that cares for his son and how he promised his late wife that he would give good care. Then he says he is out of the country and would like to send a month pre payment to secure his spot without even reviewing the daycare policies. I immediately told him no when he asked for my home address to send the check. I told my other colleagues and they received the exact information.
