The scammer sent me an email with only my last name as the person being addressed. As a female my last name has changed only by marriage. I t said that a distant relative had died and there was a large sum of money left to the estate. He gave a fake company name of a Law Office (which I verified with the BBB) and he asked for my personal phone # so we could talk about how to get the funds released. I DID NOT REPLY AND DID NOT GIVE HIM ANY INFO! Below is a s reen shot of the email.
