Type of a scam Employment
I have been sent multiple emails saying I had a work at home job part time for 3500.00 per month plus 5% commissions. Like an [censored] I wanted to believe this as I’m unemployed, so I sent my info and signed an "employment agreement". Next email I’m being told that I needed to set up a checking account with a local bank but it must have Mobile check deposit! Then he forwards me 2 copies (front,back) of a check and I’m supposed to print and cut them down to the checks size, then Mobile deposit them into my account and "await further instructions". You don’t have to be brilliant to realize that this is check fraud. Good thing my credit is bad so there’s not much they can do with my information. I have all correspondence regarding said scam to hopefully catch these tech thugs.
