Total money lost $300

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I came across the add on Craigslist for Yorkies for sale. I the messaged the seller via text. I asked for more pictures of the dog which the they did send. I also asked for the price of the dog which was $600. The seller then proceeded to ask me to send a deposit of $300 to reserve the dog, I advised that I did not feel comfortable sending the money without seeing the dog and I offered to meet to get the dog so that I could pay for it. The seller then advised that he would need something in order for me to reserve the dog. He asked what I felt comfortable sending so I sent $100 via cash app. When then agreed to meet the next day in public area. The next day I went to the area that we said that we would meet, i waited for an hour and then he advised he was at the vet getting the dog the last checkup , he proceeded to then ask be to send $200 to cover the dogs last check up. I continuously advised that I did not feel comfortable sending the money. I advised to pay for everything once the dog was in my possession. He badgered me about he $200 so i ended up sending it via cashapp. He then advised me that the vet was requesting that the payment be with through bitcoin. I then realized it was a scam. I asked if he could send the $200 back and I just resend and of course he did not. I offered to meet him at the vet to get the dog, he provided me an address but when I got there he was not there. I logged into my banking portal to dispute the transaction and I noticed that there was a number(702-723-6046) listed on the transaction which belonged to this website https://pet-rehome.com . I believe that this website is 100% fraudulent and a scam.
