This person came to my door and offered to trim a tree near the front of my house for a reduced rate. He told me he had been to this address before and trimmed trees for the previous owner. I asked him about trimming trees in my back yard and to remove a large tree near my house. He gave me a price and was very knowledgeable about the process. He worked up a bid sheet for me and asked for $2,800.00 payment in order to bring the equipment and dumpster to my house. He cashed the check at my bank and did not show up to do the work. I called him number and texted on the first day he came by. He answered the text. I called on the following morning to ask where he was and left a message. I did not hear back.
