This company manipulated its auction such that I was not allowed to bid on a product in spite of the company acknowledging receipt of my bid. The company denies any intentional refusal to honor my bid (in the process admitting that they received and disregarded same nonetheless). Most importantly, this company is well aware of the mistake it made yet it not only refused to make any effort to take responsibility for the mistake, it actually refuses to reply or converse with me in any way. In essence, just as many larger businesses do, they take your money if it is easy and fast, but they will do nothing to approach those incidents where they are at fault and mess up. While I am the first to admit that people mess up, I have no issue with that. My issue is when people make a mess and not only refuse to help clean up, but will not even acknowledge the mess they made.

Put simply, if you are going to do business with a company in another country, you should be sure that it is reputable (as your recourse will be limited). This company has demonstrated a classic European approach to problem solving … put your head down and hope it passes. Honestly, it is disappointing that I could not make an arrangement with this company to do business as they hold a lot of product that I could have resold for a lot of money here in the United States. The problem is, when they are negligent and refuse to accept responsibility for their negligent actions, it’s clear that they will do nothing to correct the errors they will inevitably make. We all mess up, the measure of a person, or company, is what they do to correct their errors. This company not only did nothing, it would not even reply.
