Bait and switch.
Company will advertise sales of products, when you order they send email saying there "is an error" with your order and to call them. Then they try to upsell (bait and switch) you. If you say no, they put your order on indefinite hold.
Scammers.

Ordered at LG OLED TV on Dec 18th, 2017. Business would not let me know details of its arrival. After numerous attempts to find out, they eventually started to forward me to the shipper (which is odd). After numerous phone calls to Joe’s AV, its shipping provider, and continuous emails; January 28th came around to no LG OLED TV. After multiple emails looking for a reimbursement; Joe’s AV email contact kept promising $200.. $300..$400 off of our order that never came..
Contacted my legal team, as well as my business credit card of the fraud.
Ordered from Amazon.com and in 2 days we received our tv that we were waiting on for over a month from Joe’s AV.

I ordered TV from Joe’s AV at heavily discounted rate in August. As of November, I have had no contact with them and no notifications. I called them this morning and they told me my order was lost in transit and they cancelled my order with no notification. The TV I purchased still sells on their website but not for the same price I purchased at. They obviously sold me the TV at a discounted rate they could not support and then lied about being lost in transit when they still sell the same TV today. Without any notification I am now months away from getting the TV I needed for a new rental property. Absurd business practice! These are Brooklyn scammers who do not work on Friday/Saturdays!

Ordered a *** *** grill. Got the same bait and switch call asking me to upgrade to a different grill. I did not bite. Guy said, "OK, we’ll send it out." Over the course of the next week, I called and e-mailed asking why the order was still listed as "processing". I was told first that delivery would take 14-17 business days, and later told that it would be 28-38 business days. I asked why, to which they replied because it’s coming from an overseas distributor. Two points: 1st, the grill was listed as "in stock" on their website. Overseas is not "in stock". Second, the *** *** grill is manufactured in Palatine, Illinois, not overseas – a fact I confirmed with Weber. When I confronted the customer service woman about this, twice, she stuck to the story that it’s overseas, without identifying where overseas, or otherwise backing up her claim. Having by then read the reviews of the place, and feeling no confidence I was ever going to get the grill, especially at the advertised price, I canceled the order, which she seemed happy to do. I don’t think there was ever an intent to honor the sale – they just wanted the chance to sell me something more profitable. I’ll be watching my credit card history the next few weeks to see if they sell my number – they seemed to make a big production about telling me that my card was never charged, and that they would be deleting my information from their files.

Customer service engaged in a phone conversation three days after placing an online order. The customer service person on the phone tried to change and upsell an order that was already confirmed online. It offered to sell me the same exact product made by Sony Corporation and at a higher price, claiming that the model of the product I had bought was made at an inferior production facility.

So, I call to order a very expensive TV that I had researched… the *** ***… it is one of the top 5 TVs released in 2016. I called after to get confirmation and the jerking around started. They indicated the *** was not that good and the *** was much better… any reputable website would tell you much much different. They were scamming on the phone call and kept on scamming. It was all a lie and bs… So I told them to just cancel my order entirely… Their google reviews do not come close to matching their ScamPulse.com rating of F… F minus if you ask me. They are full of crap and I just hope everyone reads the ScamPulse.com issues before even attempting a purchase…

I called to verify that an item listed online as "in stock" was truly available to ship immediately. I was told that it was and immediately hit the order button on my online order at the same time. The next day I received 4 emails asking me to "call and confirm my order". When I called, I was told that although the item was again said to be in stock, it wouldn’t ship for 28 days. This is a deceptive business practice and a quick google search turns up dozens of identical stories from other consumers.

Received an email saying I needed to call to confirm. When I called, it was obvious they had one person who couldn’t handle the volume of calls. When I got through, some fast-talking hustler tried to upsell me, told me the $50 off was only for payments made by check (the website said nothing about that) and the free shipping took at least 30 days. It was supposed to include a wall mount, which he told me I’d rather have replaced with a free HDMI cord, then tried to sell me the wall mount at half-off! He followed with announcing that there is a 1.2% insurance charge ("which I can’t do nuttin’ about"). All this added up to a TV that cost just as much as all the other online retailers.
Thank God, I had given him an old address for the credit card (we had just moved) so he commanded me to call him back in 15 minutes with the correct address. Needless to say, I bought from a reputable dealer for a little more
