Type of a scam Employment

I was looking online for jobs and found a site that looked promising, so I sent in my resume and got this e-mail a few hours later:

"Thank you for your resume submission for our remote contractor Data Entry Compiler Specialist position.

Congratulations you have been pre-selected to become an at home agent with Jobseeker On Board!

Please respond back to [email protected] if you have further questions regarding this position.

Jobseeker On Board is now hiring remote Data Entry Compiler Specialist to join our administrative team to assist our marketing department.

We have reviewed your resume that was previously sent to us on your behalf for the Data Entry Compiler Specialist position and we feel that you are a perfect match for the position based on your skills and qualifications.

We would like to offer you the Data Entry Compiler Specialist 1099 contractor job opportunity to work at home with Jobseeker On Board on a part-time or full-time basis upon completing a satisfactory application approval process. At Jobseeker On Board our qualified Data Entry Compiler Specialists will enjoy the freedom and profitability of working independently as a (1099) contractor while benefiting from the tools, branding and support of a national recruiting work at home job finder agency."

In the e-mail, it also states that their business/company is registered with the ScamPulse.com. So, I checked and there is no business or company or website under BBB. I began to search through Google, looking up "Jobseeker On Board reviews," but none showed up. I do not think this is a legitimate site that offers employment. What made it weirder for me was that the e-mail asked for money, a one-time fee of $99.00 for a background check and training for the position I would be applying for. It also has a phone number that is on repeat to say "we are on the line with another customer, please leave a voicemail….," which is odd.
