Type of a scam Debt Collections
*** is claiming that they are collecting a debt on behalf of ** *** for a house that i had a Deed in Lieu two years ago. I filed my taxes when I got my 1099. Now they claim I owe ** *** over 130,000. I never had a mortgage with this bank. I called my mortgage company and they told me I should disreguard that because they never contacted a collection agency because my debt was closed with them. They are now constantly harrassing me by mail and cell phone. I want this to stop. I do not owe anyone. I even checked my credit and there is nothing even remotely like this on my credit report.
